The online stakeholder discussed focused on the recently published electric vehicles policy in Sikkim. The primary objective of this workshop was to delve into the prospects and challenges associated with the adoption of electric vehicles as a sustainable mode of  transportation within the state.

During the workshop, key stakeholders including government officials, transportation experts, environmentalists, and representatives from the private sector congregated to exchange insights and knowledge. The discussions revolved around topics such as the technological feasibility of e-buses, charging infrastructure requirements, economic viability, environmental benefits, and the potential impact on public mobility.

Participants engaged in lively dialogues, sharing experiences from other regions where e-buses have already been implemented successfully. They also deliberated on strategies to overcome potential obstacles like initial investment costs, integration with existing transportation systems, and ensuring long-term operational efficiency.

The workshop not only served as a platform for information dissemination but also facilitated networking and collaboration among various stakeholders.
